Fees
We believe it’s important for families and clients to clearly understand fees before starting services. The information below outlines our current fees and how billing works. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
Services
Intake Appointment
All services require an initial intake to understand background, current concerns, and goals.
The intake is typically a shorter appointment (approximately 30 minutes direct time) and includes associated clinical and administrative tasks (e.g. information gathering, file setup, and documentation).
👉 Intake is billed based on time required.
Where intake is incorporated into ongoing sessions, this time is included within those services.
Fee: Higher than standard session (discussed at booking)
Intervention & Consultation Sessions
Sessions focus on understanding, supporting, and building strategies for everyday functioning (e.g. emotional regulation, behaviour, learning, or neurodevelopmental differences).
Sessions include:
- approximately 50 minutes direct time
- associated clinical tasks (e.g. notes and brief communication)
Fee: $225 per session
Telehealth Sessions
Telehealth sessions are available and are charged at the same rate as in-person sessions.
Fee: $225 per session
Insight Session
A one-off session to:
- explore concerns
- gain understanding
- receive initial recommendations
Fee: $225 (additional cost for short summary document)
Short Phone or Video Consultation
Brief consultations (e.g. check-ins, quick guidance).
Charged proportionally based on time (of $225/hr)
Additional Documentation
Additional written work outside of sessions is billed separately.
This may include:
- letters
- reports
- summaries
- school or provider communication
Billed based on time required (at $225/hr)
Assessments
Assessment fees are provided as a total cost (or range) depending on the type and complexity.
This includes:
- assessment sessions
- scoring and interpretation
- report writing
- assessment materials
- associated administrative tasks (e.g. filing, case notes, documentation, and communication)
A quote will be provided prior to commencement.
Travel & External Appointments
Where services involve travel (such as school visits, observations, or external meetings), travel time may be charged.
For private clients, travel is billed at 50% of the standard session rate, capped at 30 minutes each way, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
For NDIS-funded services, travel is billed in line with NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
All travel-related charges are discussed and agreed prior to the appointment.
Supervision
Supervision is available for professionals as individual or group.
Fee (individual): $220 per 1 hour session
Payment Options
Private (non-NDIS or Medicare)
$225 per session or assessment package pricing.
NDIS
Services are available for participants who are self-managed or plan-managed.
- Sessions are billed in line with current NDIS price limits (up to $232.99 per hour)
- Invoices are provided after each session
- Billing uses time-based NDIS line items
Please note:
- Agency-managed (NDIA-managed) participants are not currently accepted
Medicare Rebates
Some services may be eligible for Medicare rebates with a valid referral.
Mental Health Treatment Plan
- Referral required from GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician
- Limited number of sessions per year
- Out-of-pocket costs apply
Complex Neurodevelopmental Assessments
- Available for individuals up to 25 years
- Referral required from paediatrician or psychiatrist
- Rebates cover part of the assessment process only
Payment & Cancellations
Payment is required on the day of service, unless an assessment payment schedule applies. Additional Documentation service is payable in advance, as this work is completed prior to being provided. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged in line with the practice Cancellation, Rescheduling & Non-Attendance Policy.
Clients are responsible for full payment of fees regardless of rebate eligibility or processing outcomes.
Fee Reviews
Fees form part of the practice’s Fees, Billing & Funding Policy and may be reviewed from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to current clients with reasonable notice and will apply from the stated effective date.
